Week 6 My Rows and Piles of Coins
Please note that the #5 word bundle was left out of the definition page.
In Week 6, we will begin an exciting new story from our Reading Street 3.1 book, "My Rows and Piles of Coins." We will spend the next three weeks exploring this story and engaging in a variety of lessons to enhance your child’s reading and comprehension skills.
During the first week, we will introduce key vocabulary from the story and focus on spelling words with vowel diphthongs such as ou and ow. Additionally, students will be learning about the prefix un- (meaning "not" or "the opposite of") and the suffix -ly (used to describe how something is done, or "in a ___ way").
Please encourage students to review these concepts at home, as it will greatly reinforce their learning in class. We look forward to a productive and enjoyable learning experience with "My Rows and Piles of Coins."
