I’m thrilled to guide your child through this journey of learning, growth, and discovery. This semester will focus on key areas such as reading, vocabulary, spelling, and grammar conventions, using our new Reading Street 3.1 RWN and reading book. In the first half of the 2nd semester, we will explore four stories, beginning week 1 reading of Charlie McButton; along with three primary stories—What About Me? Kumak’s Fish, and My Rows and Piles of Coins—being our main focus. These stories will be the foundation for our lessons and will be assessed through weekly tests and our Mid-Term exam. Your child will be actively engaged in discussions and activities that deepen their comprehension and language skills.
