Their hard work and dedication have paid off, though there are a few students who need to be more diligent in their studies and note-taking.  In addition, students have received new homework Bubble Books for the next three stories. I encourage students to be more productive in taking notes and highlighting key components of each unit as we move forward. This upcoming week ahead, students will continue their journey through the story Carl the Complainer , which will help reinforce key reading skills, including identifying cause and effect relationships. In addition to reading, we will focus on grammar lessons in our Reading and Writing Notebooks (RWNB), covering pronouns and multiple-meaning words that can function as both nouns and verbs. Week 16 will also mark an important milestone as students take their final Reading Street 2.2  unit test of the semester. We have some exciting and important lessons planned to enhance the students' reading, spelling, and grammar skills.
