I wanted to take a moment to update you on the progress our class has made as we begin Week 12.

Today was a fantastic start to the week, with students showing great enthusiasm and attentiveness throughout our lessons. We began our second official writing assignment: A Thank You Letter. This assignment will help students practice expressing gratitude in a thoughtful and structured way, while also developing their writing skills. They have already shown eagerness in getting started, and I look forward to seeing their creativity and sincerity come through in their work.

Additionally, our class has been very engaged in our reading lessons. Students have been actively participating in reading our current story, and they’ve been working on understanding and using key sentences to improve both their comprehension and language skills. Their participation has been impressive, and it’s clear they are making strong strides in their learning.

I’m excited about the progress we are making, and I encourage you to ask your child about what they are working on in class this week. As always, thank you for your continued support in helping create a positive and productive learning environment for all students.

This upcoming week ahead, students will continue their journey through the story Carl the Complainer , which will help reinforce key reading skills, including identifying cause and effect relationships. In addition to reading, we will focus on grammar lessons in our Reading and Writing Notebooks (RWNB), covering pronouns and multiple-meaning words that can function as both nouns and verbs. Week 16 will also mark an important milestone as students take their final Reading Street 2.2  unit test of the semester. Spelling words from RWN Week 14 Vocabulary PPT   Firefighter Story Story Summary Pronouns Dear A2 Parents,  In the upcoming week, our class will continue exploring the Firefighter Unit in our Reading Street series. We have some exciting and important lessons planned to enhance the students' reading, spelling, and grammar skills.
